Price & tip based tour policies

Our free tours do not have a set price, instead, EACH PERSON gives the tour guide at the end of the tour the amount that he or she considers appropriate (our tip based tour policies usually range from $8US (200,000 VND) to $30 depending on your budget and your level of enjoyment).

Where Does The Tour End?

The Free Can Tho Food Tour will end at the Ninh Kieu Wharf where you can grab the car or take a walking-distance way back to your hotel.

An experience foodie local male tour guide will go along the tour with you as follows:
1/ Best shrimp cake is a speciality food of the Khmer minority ethnic group in Mekong Delta
2/ A fantastic local pub and local beer and finger food, and weird foods, rice-field-BBQ-rat and more. Your male tour guide will help you to translate the local beer and food menu.
3/ More BBQ and local taste
4/ Walking to the night market
5/ Have some more secret recommemded drinks and spots along the corners (depending on the season of the year)
6/ You will have a fab and laughable night because our tour guide are very knowledgeable and humorous

Are There Tour Even If It's Raining?

YES, off course! This is Vietnam, remember, it’s generally raining so we are more than used to it. That’s why we recommend you to take appropriate clothing and shoes for a rainy day with you, and don’t forget an umbrella, just in case.

How Can I Find The Guide?

Just go to the Meeting point and look for our guide. We will send you the picture of the tour guide via WhatsApp.

What should I wear?

Our tours are all walking, so we always recommend comfy shoes and appropriate clothing (cover your knees and shoulder) . Check the weather on the day of the tour, but we recommend bring a raincoat and some SPF just encased.

How You Handle to Run The Free Tour?

Yes, we know it’s hard to believe, but this tour is free. If there is a price, is totally up to you! After the tour you can reward the guide, according to your possibilities and your decision, if you feel it’s fair because you had a wonderful time. Part of your tip will be used for marketing and some other operational costs. This is a risky but effective system. We make sure our tours are highly qualified and the client is duly satisfied. Also, we are proud the welcome everybody to our tours, no matter their budget.
