ITINERARY BY DAY
  • At 5:00 AM, your personal guide & scooter driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby.
  • Drive to the boat pier and take the small boat to visit the Cai Rang floating market – a must thing to see in Can Tho. Your guide will explain things about the history of the market, the local life on the river. Enjoy the tour with the freshest pineapple on the floating boat and say GOOD MORNING VIETNAM! GOOD MORNING MEKONG! (The tour includes the breakfast).
  • Back to the main land. Your scooter continues riding to the local family where the guide will explain the value of the traditional food that the local inherit and preserve it. You can practice making fine rice vermicelli for breakfast with BBQ pork in the garden.
  • Your scooter keep riding to the ferryboat and conquer the other side of Mekong river where has a famous old giant ficus microcarpa tree -a great place for VC to camouflage and hide means of war fare and trained guerrilla. Your guide will absolutely explain more interesting war sides in Mekong region.
  • Spend about an hour drive including stopping over at the gardens, beautiful magic roads…that you have not ever expected to see in your trip.
  • Continue to visit the organic cacao farm where the guide will tell you interesting stories about cacao and Mr. Cacao and how to make chocolates, wines, cosmetics…Have a glass of cacao milk and can taste cacao wine.
  • Keep driving along the canal for reaching the friendly family’s traditional noodle house. You’ll be impressed by the colorful noodles, and how fascinating the noodles are made by local. The family will serve you the yummy noodle pizza made by the owner’s wife…
  • Non-stop discovering Can Tho, you will check-in the beautiful tropical orchard, explore native fruit trees and your guide will share a lot of information about native tropical fruits in the region, and you can savor some fresh seasonal fruits.
  • You’ll have special food for a light lunch.
  • Around 02:00 PM, we will drive you back to your place. End the “A Real Mekong” nine hours tour.
